Pregnant Moms mostly gets confused that what they'll need while being in the hospital.
While being pregnant, you can still visit the store and see things you like/dislike. So here is checklist for you which includes even some personal stuff you'll prefer to purchase your self and have
it in your bag:)
Have kurtas/T-Shirts
It's obvious you'll put your clothes, but make sure you have t-shirt or kurtas with slit at the side. A gown or Anarkali style kurta won't be easy to handle as you need to feed your baby. If its Anarkali kurta or long gown - It will be hard to pull all cloth upside and have your little one inside.Have Sanitary Pads or Maternity Pads
In many cases, we can not predict that either it will be normal delivery or c Section or what. So it's better to keep these pads whichever you prefer as it's not the period that will stop in 5 Days :) It might take longer than that. So you have to choose the softer one which you can have until long.Cotton Dupattas
Its advisable to carry dupattas or cotton/soft cloths as you need to cover your baby and they'll poop and pee so frequently that you'll need it in high quantity. (As of course on the very first day you cannot use diapers for your little one!)Medicated Cotton and soft cloths
Each time your baby poops - we can not use the regular cloths to clean it, So it's better to use medicated cotton and some soft cloths.Hand Sanitiser
Ofcourse, in COVID times no one will forget the Hand sanitiser and Masks :)As soon as your friends and family come to know you are blessed with a baby - Many people will start coming to see the little one. So its good to keep 1 sanitiser bottle in your room, so if they want to take a baby - they can first wash their hands and then hold the little one. Its also advisable to have a few extra masks with you.
Face Wipes
After delivery, Mom also needs special care. Most of the times mom are not allowed to stand up or have walked around, moreover, they need to cover their selves with scarves and all. The room temperature is also always kept warm. So whenever you feel low or not fresh - you can simply clean your face with face wipes and feel the freshness.Small Bowl and spoon
As at the sudden baby will not lean to feed, we need to feed them with a spoon.P.S: A small advice - Remove all shyness with your boots outside of the hospital, just be bold and share whatever you're feeling or facing to your doctor.
